The municipality of Zapotitlán, located in the Mixteca Poblana of México, houses communities of indigenous origin traditionally linked to agricultural, artisanal and collecting activities, which in recent decades have been dedicated to the abandonment of their territory. This book presents the results of the study carried out in three locations in the municipality of Zapotitlán. The voice of the inhabitants of these communities, collected through interviews and surveys, is heard in their different chapters giving account of the economic, economic, political and environmental transformations that they have had in it.
